I am delighted to be the art education teacher at Wines. My goal with each child is to challenge their imagination, encourage personal expression and develop their art skills. A variety of media will be used including drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture and clay. Art history teaches the importance of other artists and cultures and will be incorporated into art lessons. School displays and other art exhibits will provide opportunities to showcase the talents of our students. Each year in May, we celebrate the work of all our students at Wines Art Night, when the school is transformed into a large art gallery. I look forward to a creative year with your child.
